1966 Malibu SS
You just feel good looking at this car. You can feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, and you're not even driving it yet. The lines on the car are perfect. The underside is very clean. The firewall, floorboards and trunk were coated with LizardSkin Ceramic Insulation to reduce engine and solar heat, and to deaden external noise. The body has been painted with a custom Mercedes silver metallic paint.
This car is a kitten with a whip. It looks harmless as you stare at it, but it roars below the surface. The powertrain includes a true 396 big-block V-8, a 2-speed Powergilde transmission, and a Moser 12-bolt Posi-trac rear end. Power steering makes handling effortless and 4-wheel disk brakes smoothly reign in the charging horses. The upholstery is leather…custom cut, custom fit. All of the instrumentation has been re-built and a new aftermarket air-conditioning system was installed.
If you're ever on the roads in Kansas and see an unexplained silver flash in the corner of your eye, it was probably this bad boy out for a joy ride with the top down and a grin, as wide as the Kansas plains, on the owner's face. |
